Prior to the Health Estimates on Thursday April. 27th with the Minister of Health, the BCRS updated BC Liberal health critic Shirley Bond on our 4 key points.

  1. Critical shortage of technologists
  2. Extremely long wait times for breast imaging
  3. Capital investments to replace aging medical imaging equipment and add net new equipment
  4. Overhead costs for community imaging clinics (CICs)

Shirley Bond advanced all 4 key points in the legislature. You can view the transcript here

The BCRS is disappointed that the Minister of Health continues to focus on a few select positive numbers and not acknowledge the many negative numbers behind the issues. We will continue to advocate for progress on these 4 key issues.
