The BCRS values the membership of UBC Radiology Residents: 

  • We offer free membership during residency and a 50% discount in dues while in your first year of practice.
  • Registered members are able to participate in all BCRS General Meetings and accredited BCRS CME events at little or no cost.
  • We have Junior and Senior Resident Representatives on our Executive Council to increase communication between residents and the BCRS.
  • We offer a Leadership in Radiology Scholarship to residents in any year of training.

BCRS Leadership in Radiology Resident Scholarship

The BCRS Leadership in Radiology Resident Scholarship will allow the selected UBC Radiology resident to acquire or develop leadership skills to become radiology leaders of tomorrow.  The right leadership training and understanding of how to apply the learning, will help radiology residents advance their careers. This award will allow one (1) radiology resident to attend the CAR Annual Scientific Meeting.

The value of the award is intended to cover: Cost of CAR ASM registration(s)

The BC Radiological Society is under no obligation to offer the scholarship annually.
