DR. ALISON HARRIS BSc (Hons), MBChB, MRCP, FRCR, FRCPC, FSAR

Dr. Harris is an Abdominal Radiologist at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) and University of British Columbia (UBC) and a Clinical Professor of Radiology at UBC. She is the Regional Department Head and Regional Program Medical Director of Medical Imaging for VCH and Providence Health Care.

She participates in Vancouver Physician Staff Association (VPSA), UBC Radiology, and the Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR) Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committees. Dr. Harris is currently undertaking a Master’s in Health Economics, Policy, and Management at the London School of Economics. 

Dr. Harris has published over 75 peer-review papers focusing on hepatobiliary imaging. She has spoken at local, national, and international conferences. Outside of Radiology, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, traveling, and running!
