DR. BLAKE JAMIESON

After completing a double degree in Science and English Literature, Dr. Jamieson completed Medical School, a Radiology Residency, and an MRI Fellowship at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During his third year of Medical School, Dr. Jamieson suffered a spinal cord injury that paralyzed him from the chest down. He runs a full radiology practice from his wheelchair.

Dr. Jamieson is passionate about Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) and currently sits on the UBC EDI Committee. Additionally, he is a UBC Clinical Instructor, Ridge Meadows Hospital MRI Department Head, and the Communications Director for the BC Radiological Society.  

Born and raised on the West Coast, Dr. Jamieson has an affinity for the water and can often be found cruising and fishing the BC coast on his adapted 38-foot Bertram.
