DR. JAMES NUGENT

Dr. James Nugent is a Radiology resident at the University of British Columbia (UBC, 2020-2025). Originally from Vancouver, he completed his undergrad at Western University and medical school at UBC. James is proud to be a BC Radiological Society (BCRS) member and strives to improve BCRS educational materials and facilitate communication between residents and radiology groups. 

During the 2021 Canadian Association of Radiologists Annual General Meeting Abstract Competition, Dr. Nugent and his colleagues received first place in the Education Exhibit category with an abstract titled Modern Radiologic Diagnosis and Management of Acute Cholecystitis – What’s New in the Hot Gallbladder. James hopes to complete a neuroradiology fellowship and find a practice in BC. His favourite pastimes are golf and hockey.
