DR. SARAH (SALLY) HARVIE

Dr. Sally Harvie is a community radiologist in Northern British Columbia. Originally from Ontario, she completed medical school and residency at Dalhousie University and practised for 14 years in a multi site radiology group in Peterborough, Ontario. She developed a focus in breast imaging, leading the transition to digital mammography and tomosynthesis, introducing stereotactic biopsy and breast MRI including biopsy, and helping establish Breast Health Navigator roles across sites.

In 2021, Dr. Harvie relocated to northwest BC and now serves as Medical Imaging Lead for Northern Health (since 2023).

Outside of work, Dr. Harvie enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and two children.
