The International Day of Radiology, spearheaded by the European Society of Radiology and supported by many other imaging organizations, is coming up on November 8th. This year’s theme is ‘Sports Imaging’ and it gives us a chance as Radiologists to remind our physician colleagues, administrators and the general public about the huge role that imaging and intervention play in the diagnosis and treatment of common activity related injuries at all levels of play. Hoping that this day is successful in your communities, and that your own athletic experiences keep you away from the Radiology Department!
