BCRS was pleased to host Yongmei Chen, Executive Director of Surgical and Medical Imaging,
for a half-day visit at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC.
Joined by Dr. Vamshi Kotha, Dr. Wan Wan Yap, and Amy Smith, the visit included a tour of the
medical imaging department and interventional radiology suite. We also had focused
discussions on the critical role of interventional radiology and practical, system-level solutions to
the growing medical imaging challenges in British Columbia.
We are grateful for her time and for the strong, collaborative relationship between BCRS and
the Ministry of Health.
